Electronic Identification (eID)

In accordance with the new Law on Companies, since the beginning of 2024, the Office for IT and eGovernment has enabled all existing and newly registered companies (limited liability companies, limited partnerships, partnerships and joint stock companies) to automatically register accounts on the eGovernment Portal, as well as to access electronic mailboxes on this Portal.

The process of opening an electronic mailbox (eMailbox) and accessing it by legal representatives of companies is fully automated.

The prerequisite for creating an eMailbox is that the company has a registered e-mail address in the Register of Business Entities of the Serbian Business Registers Agency (SBRA).

Other legal forms registered with the Serbian Business Registers Agency are enabled to independently register a legal entity account on the eGovernment Portal. Registration instructions are available here.

Legal entities that are not registered with the SBRA should send a letter to the Office for IT and eGovernment via e-mail, at: office@ite.gov.rs with a request to create an account. The letter must include the following information:

  • name of the legal entity,
  • TIN,
  • registration number,
  • e-mail address,
  • registered office of the legal entity and
  • information about the legal representative: first and last name, unique master citizen number, e-mail address and contact phone number.
